The cookies and browser storage Raindance AI uses and how to control them
2026/10/02
About This Policy
This policy explains how Raindance AI, operated by the Raindance AI Team, uses cookies and similar browser storage on raindanceai.cc. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What Cookies and Browser Storage Are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and IndexedDB, let a site keep small amounts of data on your device. We use both to keep you signed in, remember your settings and understand how the site is used.
Essential Cookies and Storage
These are needed for the Service to work. Blocking them may stop you from signing in or keep the generator from working properly.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| better-auth.session_token | Cookie | Keeps you signed in | 7 days |
| better-auth.session_data | Cookie | Caches your session so pages load faster | 1 hour |
| PARAGLIDE_LOCALE | Cookie | Remembers the site language | About 13 months |
| theme | Local storage | Remembers your display theme | Until cleared |
| raindance-seen-signed-in | Local storage | Shows returning visitors the right sign-in screen | Until cleared |
| raindance-composer | IndexedDB | Keeps the clip, image and prompt you prepared before signing in, so they are restored after sign-in | Cleared once restored |
Analytics Cookies
We use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and where people get stuck, so we can improve it. These tools set their own cookies:
| Provider | Cookies | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | _ga, _ga_* | Distinguish visitors and measure page views and events | Up to 2 years |
| Microsoft Clarity | _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID | Measure usage and record anonymized interactions such as clicks and scrolling | 1 day to 1 year |
Google and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy policies. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
Managing Cookies
You can control cookies in your browser settings: block all or some cookies, delete cookies already set, or browse in private mode. Local storage and IndexedDB can be cleared from the same settings, usually under "site data". If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to stay signed in.
To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when we change the cookies or tools we use. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
